In Canada, do health and life insurance companies require that applicants take a drug test?

I have recently applied for health and life insurance. The nurse will be coming to take tests next week. I am just curious as to what exactly do they test for (ex. cbc, electrolytes, ast, alt, etc) and do they include a drug test.

The nurse will ask you questions related to your health and get a form filled. A physical test of your height and weight along with samples of urine, blood and salivia if you smoke would be taken. Depending upon the age and other health problems mentioned she might do a Cardiogram.
